Baby Movements

Awesome!

When she was about 20 weeks, I can feel bubble popping inside my tummy. At first I thought it was just my digestive system or maybe it was something else about my pregnancy. I never thought it was already the baby movements. I Googled it and some described it exactly that, bubble popping.

Then at around 25 weeks, I actually saw my tummy move. As in it moved as if someone from inside pushed it. It was really really awesome.

She's super malikot. Sometimes her movements were just light kicks or jabs, and sometimes my tummy moves and deforms as if there's an alien inside my tummy.

Here's a video (she is camera shy) of my belly while she moves. Taken last July 11, 2013 when she was 32 weeks and 5 days. I wish I can capture a more obvious baby movement.

Baby's Name

Remember the names I blogged before? It was here. The names we listed to be our baby's name was either Anne Phirho if she's a girl or Chris Phirho if he's a boy.

But after a few months we came up with a lot more names and mostly, we were just playing with our own names. When my OB told us she's a she, at least we can narrow down our options already.

We want to give her a P and R initials, in any order. Hirap palang umisip ng name. Then one day, I think it was because of our teddy bear named Purpie, we found the name Purple as cute. So we decided to make the P as Purple. From there, we had a hard time thinking of a name that starts with R and will rhyme or compliment Purple. Then we came up with Rain. But since we want it to be a little unique and different from the rain the pours down on earth, we decided to change the spelling to Raine. So her name would be a color and something with nature that starts with and R.

I am so excited to see you Purple Raine!. I hope you'll find your name cute and bagay sayo. :)

Following that pattern, here are some of the names that we will give our other future kids.
Red Phyre --> Red and Fire
Pink Rae --> Pink and Ray (sun's)

Ultra Sound and Baby Pictures

I was too excited and sometime too busy to blog about the angel in my tummy. We had about 4 ultrasounds already.

The first was the uber mahal na ultra sound sa HealthWay kung saan wala namang nakita si doc, that was last December 27, 2012.

The second ultrasound was with doc Joy at Delos Santos last January 14, 2013, and that's when we confirmed we are pregnant. The baby was then 6 weeks and 4 days. :) That was the first time that we heard her heartbeat. It was weird and wonderful and scary. Mixed of emotions especially since there are a lot of things to think about during those days. Below is the very first picture of our angel.

The 3rd ultrasound was when we learned we are having a baby girl. It was last May 25. She was 25 weeks and 4 days then.

The last so far was a 3D/4D ultrasound where we were able to see her features and watch her move. Doc Joy told us again that we are having a baby girl. She was 27 and 4 days already. She is super cute. Sabi ni doc, kamukha ni Phil. Maybe because of the cheek.

We are already super excited to see her. To hug and kiss her. We love you baby.
